The Chuck Hagen Ratio #1: The Great Democratic Illusion

Perhaps the most ingenious scam perpetrated unto mankind, the illusion of democratic freedom is as oppressive as it is counter-intuitive.

Democracy is often misinterpreted as a fair and just system where citizens of a democratic nation determine political outcomes by sheer weight of numbers. In this premier episode of The Chuck Hagen Ratio, I break down the five key components regarded as positives by supporters of democracy, and explain why I believe these core aspects are detrimental to individual sovereignty.

These five components are:

  • Religious freedom

  • Educational rights

  • Empowerment of people

  • Power decentralisation

  • Better Investment Opportunity

Utilising the Socratic stance on democracy as a base argument, and bringing his ideas into the modern world from a libertarian viewpoint, I present my own case against democracy, and how such systems exploit human desire for rapid solution and nothing more.

I hope you enjoy the episode, listening options are plentiful, and if you would like to engage me further on this debate, I would love to hear from you.
